Gogomi Privacy Policy
Gogomi ("we," "our," or "us"), created by OBOADE LABS INC., is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our app (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
Information We Collect
1. Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your username and passcode to authenticate and manage your access to the Service.
2. Workout Data
With your explicit permission, we access GPS route data from your walks and runs recorded in Gogomi or accessed through Apple Health on iOS or Health Connect on Android, including workouts recorded on connected devices. We store and process this data to generate your routes and coverage map and to investigate route processing issues. Raw GPS traces and processed workout data are tied to your account.
3. Permissions
We require your consent to access Apple Health or Health Connect workout data and to use your location when recording activities in Gogomi. Permissions can be managed and revoked at any time through your device settings.
4. Crash and Diagnostic Data
We use Google Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash reports and diagnostic information when Gogomi encounters an error. This may include crash stack traces, relevant app state, app version and build, distribution channel, crash time, device model and architecture, operating-system information, and pseudonymous installation and session identifiers. We use this information to identify crashes, diagnose bugs, and improve the reliability of the Service. We do not send your account credentials, workout data, health data, or precise location to Crashlytics.
How We Use Your Information

We use your data to process workout information, generate route insights, and maintain your account to deliver personalised features.
2. To Ensure Data Accuracy and Security
Your data is used solely for route aggregation and app functionality.
3. To Communicate with You
We may respond to your support requests via our support email.
Data Retention
We retain raw GPS traces for up to 30 days after receiving them, then delete them.
Processed workout data and account information are retained as long as your account remains active. When you request account deletion, we deactivate access to the account and permanently remove its associated data within 30 days. We may retain limited records for longer only when required for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.
Firebase Crashlytics retains crash reports and associated identifiers for 90 days before beginning removal from its live and backup systems.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information or share it with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. Google processes crash and diagnostic data on our behalf through Firebase Crashlytics so that we can monitor app stability and fix bugs. For more information, see Privacy and Security in Firebase.
Data Security
We prioritize the security of your data by employing encryption for data transfer and secure storage mechanisms. While we strive to protect your personal information, no system is completely secure. Please use a strong passcode to safeguard your account.
Your Rights
1. Revoke Permissions
You can revoke permissions to collect or process Apple Health, Health Connect, and location data at any time through your device settings.
2. Account Deletion
You can request deletion in the app through Settings or without the app by following the instructions on our Account Deletion page. Deleting your account permanently removes the account record and associated data, including stored walks, runs, GPS routes, settings, coverage data, and device registrations. Permanent deletion cannot be undone.

Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting in the app. Your continued use of the Service signifies your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
